Jackson and Freckles.
Delane, Amy, Jackson and Ben came for a visit this afternoon after leaving Grandma's. I was excited to have the company and anxious to get Spirit out and show him off. Amy rode Spirit and Jackson rode Freckles with Martin leading down to the creek and back. What a perfect day for it.
Hopefully Delane will have some pictures up of them actually on the horses...or send me some..I couldn't get to the camera while they were on. I used the old one (as I intend to for snapshots) for these.
Freckles was delighted to be needed again. It has been along time since Old Freck got to get out and go for a ride....he is a bit long in the tooth, but he was very proud of himself today. And Jackson, well Jackson is a natural on a horse. He did great and I was very proud of him. He even brushed Freckles down after his ride like the big riders do.
Spirit looked so good in "our" brand new saddle! Brown suede....
Ben? Oh no, Ben didn't ride. He enjoyed the horses at a distance.
Back inside the boys were kind enough to model for me in some test shots. Isabelle came down Friday afternoon and worked with me modeling so I can start my portfolio and advertising. Izzy is a natural with the props and keeping a pose....and I was surprised at how well Ben and Jackson did.....very patient kids.
I've got my business cards ordered and my test samples at my new website. It is still pretty fresh but at least I have some sample photos.
I wanted to do some family tests for Christmas cards and now I am thinking why in the heck didn't I make Delane, Amy and the kids ALL do a pose! Afterthoughts!
Anyway here are a few of my faves from my gorgeous models.....

Even without reading your bio, I can see you are a photographer. Those are some gorgeous shots. Of course your subjects are beautiful. My daughter is a photographer and the shots she takes of her son are extraordinary. t helps to know your subject.

So you're going into the kids photo business? My goodness, I can just see you in one of those places at the mall with screaming kids not wanting to sit, hair flying and screams heard down the hall.

Wow! I'm impressed, Deana! Those shots are SO professional...love the lighting effect on Izzy's head. And I have to agree....those are 3 exceptionally gorgeous children! And you captured them beautifully. Will check out your site now.
AND....weren't you SHOCKED on Housewives with the shooting? I was gasping! I never expected her to shoot that girl!

Wowsa! What fantastic pictures! The clan is always adorable anyway, but your pictures are phenomenal. I most especially love the last one. You should definitely do their Christmas cards this year. Seriously. But charge them though! LMAO! ;)
