Shes just a devil woman
With evil on her mind
Beware the devil woman
Shes gonna get you from behind ~ Cliff Richard
Okay so this morning after T left and all the cats gathered back in the kitchen for their real meal....he gives them only an appetizer basically and they come to me for more...I said guys someone has to be the Halloween image for the blog today because I don't have a picture of me in my Devil Girl costume yet. Eudora was snoring in the other room so guess who became the image for this years Halloween post.
Of course being a sensitive dog it hurt her feelings to have something squeezing her head and being stared at like that. Especially by Earl who was a bit taken back by her new look.
Despite having tons of costumes in my closet for Halloween Walmart sucks me into buying something new every year. I am like a kid in there and can't stand it. This year I bought an orange wig with devil horns, a tail, some red velvet gloves...etc. I did a pre-show she-devil runway show for Toonces the other night and I think if I hadn't been so tired and really worked it I could've come out with maybe a new car or something. Men.
Trick or Treat...T man was so happy when I got home the other day to get his hands on that toilet paper he was like a little ferret speeding from bathroom to bathroom re-stocking. I had to carry in the remaining load myself because he was distracted with the tp. That night I came so close to going in to his bathroom and taking out all the new toilet paper and hiding it. I got so tickled with myself just thinking about it but I couldn't do it to him....I am mean but not that mean.
He was also like a little kid and did what I like to call the "Eddie Murphy Mr. Landlord" face...(from SNL Mr. Robinson's neighborhood)
That will be our Friday Night Fish Fry meal!
This summer I ordered special giant pumpkin seed from a catalog. I paid $6.00 for 10 seeds. I got 2 packs and lost one immediately. I planted my 10 seeds and one vine did excellent and the weed eater boy decided to suddenly weed that spot and took out my pumpkin. I transplanted one that wasn't doing so well in its spot to the good spot and it has grown but not quick enough. And my little yellow balls all fell off except for this one. So I didn't even do a jack-o-lantern this year, breaking a life long tradition, in protest to my seed dilemma.
That's a big one huh?
For some reason all these people on highway 103 in the county have fields of pumpkins they are just letting waste there and I want to run through picking them up and saving them. At least stick them in someones yard with some hay and a scarecrow with a flannel shirt so they can think they have not died in vain. I don't understand why they didn't harvest them.
Okay, time to wrap it up.....I am getting distracted too much this morning. You know how you have those times that you do 5 things on your way to do 1 thing and then you are running late. I had to stop to touch up my black toes this morning because I kept seeing a chip in the polish. I can only paint in certain places in the house because I've had too many accidents. Most recently trying to paint my toenails at the top of the steps and knocking a bottle of "sock it to me" pink all the way down the hardwood steps. Toonces almost stroked out. So I was careful with the black.
BTW- I did have a Rollie moment when I took my bubble bath Monday night and I couldn't find the lighter (which I blamed on Toonces) for my candles so I used matches and burned my finger and dropped the glass base holding the candle, shattering it all over the marble floor. But what was worse and put me in silence was that I dropped the match in the trashcan I grabbed and it set a plastic bag in the trash can on fire! A flame came up and I was thinking "Oh my God Deana you have actually set the trash can on fire in the good bathroom!" and Toonces was yelling at me because he has learned that when I am SILENT after a crash is when it is bad.
Very last thing...Toonces and I saw We Own the Night last night...I love Mark Wahlberg and I love Robert Duvall and I LOVE Joaquin Phoenix. He did such a good job. I love him in movies, I really feel like I get to know his characters and I hope he gets something for this role. Great movie if you liked the Departed. Great movie if you like good guys, bad guys stuff with a sad dark moving story, desperation, and violence. You know I am not so sure I actually sold the movie there.
HAVE A GREAT HALLOWEEN! If I can stay out of the Chick-O-Sticks and have some candy for the tiny ghouls I will!
