This is a photo by Ben made yesterday at my parent's house for our more intimate family Thanksgiving and it seems he found his brother Jackson and Toonces exhausted from a big meal or bored to death. T-man appears to be howling at the moon in broad daylight.
Izzy caught him looking a bit better.
Martin is the grand marshal of the Stuart parade this year. Isabelle and Jackson are supposed to be riding with him helping him throw candy. I think it's great and I'm excited to go see them and make their pictures. I haven't been to a parade here in a long time. Isabelle is practicing her wave.
The parade is Saturday at 2:00pm.
Sparky the sparkster looks like a great parade dog. Here he is waiting for papa (his master) to throw his ball.
I thought Earl and Eudora would've looked great riding with Toonces but I am afraid that when they saw me they might jump out. And if they saw a little dog then they would most definitely jump out.
and Martin certainly couldn't have controlled him. Seth and Ben would've been very cute riding along throwing candy but Izzy and Jackson are in the maintenance free years. Where Toonces needs to be.
It is Christmas card photos, meetings, a gingerbread man party for the kids and the parade this week for me. The tree is up but the other decorations aren't out yet. I want to add something to the tree but I just haven't found what I want yet. I always add a new ornament each year and I need to be on the look out for those. I'd love to get out and do some Christmas decor shopping but it won't be this week. I have to wait. Time seems to slip by so quickly. Still hard to believe Christmas is just around the corner. Getting my dad's and a few small fillers for the kids and Toonces and my shopping is done! None of it has arrived yet but done never the less. If only an elf would come wrap for me.
I did ninety percent of my shopping online this year. I only leave small items to pick up for the fun of it as I see them. I love to shop but carrying all those big items to the car load after load gets old so I love the internet.
But a day with Christmas tunes, Starbucks, and home Christmas shopping is just what I need to really kick my spirit in gear. I'm ready!
