Pancakes. I kept trying to sit here working on photos and I just kept thinking pancakes. So I made some. Toonces was like "Pancakes? On a week day? We don't eat pancakes on weekdays." But he managed to eat a little bit. It is taking me a bit to get used to this crisp air. It is making me hungry so I must up my workouts!
Aside from obsessing about pancakes this morning I have been obsessed with pumpkins and mums for a week. One. I want everything looking smashingly fall for the Black Dog Bar party we have for our friends in a few weeks. Two. I wanted to see Bronx in a pumpkin patch so I built my own little pile. Three. I have some strange love for pumpkins. Maybe because I can't grow my own. Maybe it is their happy orange color and plump little figures.
We will have plenty of Jack-O-Lanterns.
And not the painted fancy kinds you see everywhere today. But the old fashioned candy corned shaped teeth ones!
Busy, busy, beyond busy next couple of weeks. So busy I don't want to even think about it. I just have to take one day at a time when things get like this. I just can't think about tomorrow or the next day. Today let's just think of pumpkins, football and other fabulous fall things.

Pumpkins and flag football - sounds like Fall.
Maybe next year you can do a pumpkin patch down by the pond? At least try.
