Fairy tales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten. - G.K. Chesterton
I have made a photograph a day even if it is just with my point and shoot...the Canon S95, which I love. I want to have fun with my photography this year. I want to create. I want to be free with it. So that means I am going to be doing just as many snapshots as I am anything else. Because sometimes the favorite ones in my year end books are just that...
Snapshots of the best days ever.

The above is Seth doing a happy dance as we twirled in the snow showers Tuesday. It didn't amount to anything but I am ready for a big pretty snow.
Then Spring can come and bring my flowers back.
:)
And my dear dear Naomi in Hollywood lost her beloved Sweetie yesterday. So lots of prayers going up for her comfort and broken heart. He will be greatly missed.
Thank you, dear Deana.....how sweet of you to mention my beloved...!
As always....you take THE BEST Pictures---snapshots, and all! I hope 2012 be be a very creative year for you and yours.....!

The point and shoots are at times better for capturing quick things - those moments you want to remember but that fly by.

I love point and shoot, nothing planned, nothing posed, everything just as it is frozen in time.
You're quote made me think of this; Do you watch Once Upon a Time on Sunday nights? It's quite unique, fairy tales paralleling modern life with one little boy who believes the two are intertwined as the connection. Like I said, it's unique.
