I'm a free-spirited photographer, soon-to-be yoga teacher, gold medal aunt, aromatherapy lover, and grand adventurer who loves nothing more than warm evenings on the porch with her husband, dogs, cats and a good bourbon.
Eudora owns that Mule. At least she believes she does. And Bronx thinks the doggos own the ride. He gets upset if they aren't on it and you take off. So here is a snap of my dad, Eudora and Bronx heading on a little ride.
It has been a fun week. Today was aunt DeeDee day. Bronx discovered the big tub and they just all made it a party. Doesn't seem so long ago when they were the babies in the bubbles. Yesterday my mom came over to help me start a batch of pickles. I am not a canner. I tried jelly last August and it was a bad experience. But I was determined to have something in my pantry I had done myself. So I have blueberry jam now...I survived the stressing out...and pickles soaking for my mom's great recipe. We use them in our tuna, potato and macaroni salads and there is nothing quite like them. They make them zing! So I think she got tired of me asking for her jars and has helped me do my own. Actually she has done all the pickle work so far but I am starting tomorrow. And the jam I did alone.
My flower beds are so pretty filled with lilies right now that I would just move everything out there if not for the humidity and heat. That always sends me back in. I just love going out and looking at them.
