I'm a free-spirited photographer, soon-to-be yoga teacher, gold medal aunt, aromatherapy lover, and grand adventurer who loves nothing more than warm evenings on the porch with her husband, dogs, cats and a good bourbon.
“You do not become good by trying to be good, but by finding the goodness that is already within you, and allowing that goodness to emerge. But it can only emerge if something fundamental changes in your state of consciousness.”
― Eckhart Tolle
Bronx is my photo of the day. I drove over to watch him and big bro Seth do some sledding because I don't have any winter pictures of him. And you are only a baby once right? This is one of my favorite shots. Those little hands on his hips, so big for an eighteen month old baby. His gloves were because he was learning how to throw snowballs and he couldn't make them with his Superman gloves on. He has quite an arm.
At our home early this morning Earl and Eudora had their own portrait session. Just like the old days. Lots of nose plowing going on. And tag. They love tag in the snow.

Back from a night in Charlotte for the NASCAR Hall of Fame induction. Loved the dinner date with my husband. Enjoyed the induction ceremony and seeing friends new and old. Fun night. Lots of Patrick County folks in the house.
Photo of the day is our evening walk with dogs. And cats. Darius and Mags are on this walk too. Maggie is harder to spot because she zips around running up trees and fallen logs.
