Sweet Toonces on a warm winter's day.

Yesterday we actually had some warmth!  Some sun!  It was nice to just be out in the yard.

We had a great weekend with friends.  Our annual game night.  At the end of the night I am always thinking "this is the last one".  I get so tired and it is alot of work.  But everyone seems to enjoy it and I have so much fun visiting everyone while they play.  This year was poker and black jack. 

I told Martin it is like child birth.  I hear women say after the baby, "never again".  Then after a year they forget the pain and want another one :)

This weekend is our February sweetheart trip to the Bahamas.  Nassau.  Ocean Club.  Yay!  I'm packing even as I type.  Ready for some sun and romance.

AND guess who is BACK!  The man of the house is SO NOT HAPPY.

Pop goes the Donkey - pt 1 of Camp Darius/ Seth's birthday party

What would life be without superheroes, fairies...laughter, splashes, or love?

Personally I don't want to know.  I love having a big family.

Though rain and lightening sent the campers home, except for my dad, Seth seemed to have a super fantastic time at his party.  He was a busy boy fighting crime, swimming, pinata-ing, eating, blowing out candles...opening presents, fishing, fighting more crime.  He did remind me that I forgot to include bubbles at his party but I think he has forgiven me for my mistake.  Seth is a bubbling, spirited, full of life little boy and I'm delighted his parents agree to let him have his birthday party here.  Cause we love a good party!

 

 
 
 

  

The pinata took a licking but kept on ticking.  Ben made the first bits of loot spill and they finally had Caleb step in to deliver the goods.

Poor Donkey.

The kids were not the only ones being spoiled and pampered at the party.  Some four legged kids that know they aren't allowed on the furniture took full advantage of the party mode.
