Since I am actually supposed to be working and have a lot of invoicing, banking and proofs to distribute in town I thought I might just do some outtakes today.

Here are some things that did not make it on to the blog for one reason or another....well, until today.

The smile or expression on Caleb's face just wasn't his best look.

Calista whatever you do, make sure you don't so much as get a paw into the outside world. 

I almost included this in a post because one day when the kids came over to play and Caleb, Izzy and I were playing croquet, Melanie had Seth going around and popping all the seed pods on the Impatiens to keep him out of our game.  Who would've thought this could've been such a big distraction hit that Izzy and Caleb had to go pop some too.  It is addictive though.

We make that long drive to the zoo and what excites the kids?  A Spongebob statue.

Izzy fought the baby for much of the stroller time.  Though Izzy is athletic and strong and energetic her stamina for walking for long periods of time just isn't there.

I told her if you can read the map you are old enough to walk...I just got the look.

One of the funniest things about Seth doing these type photo ops is that he ALWAYS puts his little hand beside his face so that the picture isn't the least bit realistic, which makes it funny.

Ever heard the expression "a good egg"?  Hard to say if this is a good egg or a rotten egg...spoiled rotten that is.

And finally, 'cause I love bears and I just wanted to make sure he got on a post one day.

I'm all about protecting those bears too.  And I seriously doubt God himself has willed a pipeline destroying their home.

Calista Cat...crazy.

• Tomorrow is the big day!  Ben on his first shopping trip with Aunt Dee.  We are going to have such a great time, I just know it.  Pizza in the food court.  Fittings at Baby Gap....yeah we are going to have fun.   And my mom may go so Ben may really be getting even more attention!  His birthday is Sunday and I am betting he is going to look smashing.
• I've been working on little trip plans for the summer.  Maybe one big group outing a month.  I love the looks of this one.  It has been over 20 years since I visited that park and it has certainly expanded.  When I found out they had cabanas I was hooked!  Nothing like planning time with the kids to lift my spirits.
• My spirits will be tip top when I go see Pirates 3 with Caleb this Monday.  Toonces can't decide......no problem.  His wife will be in a very, very, very good mood when she gets home whether he goes or not.
• Have you ever made plans that you haven't really made because they depend on about 4 or 5 different variables?  That is us tomorrow night with the Part Time Party Time band playing in Mount Airy at the Blackmon Amphitheater. 
• I am so happy that I learned from Laura that coffee grounds are good for my garden.  We will never throw our grounds away again.  I like that.  Organic and reducing garbage.  We have a lot of coffee grounds.
• This was the first time ever I didn't vote for the winner in Idol.  I just didn't care.  And I am so relieved that the season has ended so that my Tuesday and Wednesday nights are free.  And soon Sundays will be too.  I rarely watch TV anyway so now I am done except for "Big Love" coming up in June.  I watch "The Office" too.  I am crazy about it but I watch it on my iPod while I do the treadmills.  I am always laughing like a fool at the gym. 
• Speaking of the gym...I finally got to take a class with my sister in law Amy.  It was like being back in school having someone I knew so well in my class!  I just loved it.  We did the lunch time Body Pump Class.  Here is the link to my gym by the way...this place is so awesome.  The girl instructing in the first pic is my personal trainer Sandra.
• If my husband Toonces does not sit down and watch "The Last King of Scotland" I'm going to just strangle him.  We have had that blasted movie for over 2 weeks now.  He is holding up my other movies!
• I have lost my plant watering container.  I have looked the house and yard over and I just don't get it.  I just used it last night. 
• I have started reading "The End Of The World As We Know It."

Now that was more like me huh?

Weekend Interview Question: 

The new trend is a brightly colored front door.  Yes the door to your home will now be purple, hot pink, neon orange....anything you like.  You can even stay with the classic reds and black.  But no white.   You have to be trendy whether you like it or not.

So what color front door will best shout to the world your/your family's personality???
