I can't complain, but sometimes I still do. Joe Walsh
Friday- Spirit was great after I finally got him to move. My thighs are killing me even though it was a short ride. Spirit hasn't and won't cross anything like a ditch or creek but when we came across a tiny branch running through a field and Ruby (Martin's horse) went on over, so did Spirit. He JUMPED. We really JUMPED. I've never jumped like that on a horse. He wasn't taking any chances on the little branch and I wasn't taking any chances on coming off so I squeezed as hard as I could. It made me so anxious I couldn't stop squeezing. So it was a short ride but Spirit went home worn completely out and I can't walk correctly.
Saturday- Finally found the dresser perfect for our bedroom at the antiques festival here in town. We've been looking for the right one for over a year. I also found the kitty salt and pepper shakers that go with my Shawnee cookie jar my grandmother left me. And I got them for a steal!
We went to see Talladega Nights- The ballad of Ricky Bobby and I agree with everyone else....it is hilarious. I laughed and laughed and laughed. You know it's nice to sit down and just laugh sometimes and the movie does a good job of getting us all together to laugh about over the top stereotypes....I loved it. The cougar scene....still cracking me up just thinking about it. (I've never even seen a Crystal Gale t-shirt!) ***** 5 stars.
Sunday- Today- Church, home, leftovers, puppy swim, golf for Toonces (Tiger is on a roll), cat nap for me, Photo shop, Mexican restaurant, walk with all our pets including Lilly. Sweet Lilly was finally up for a walk and smiling.....first one the old girl has been up to in quite a while. Deadwood, some Emmy's, post.
Rollie is thrilled beyond belief that she has a TB test tomorrow....needles at 9am. I have almost chickened out on the whole substitute process for fear of the TB test. So if I am up to it when I get back I'll see ya around!
