The yearly concert with Chairmen of the Board at Shelton's Vineyards in Dobson, NC usually officially ends summer for me and begins fall. It was a great way to end it....and it was very nice to spend time with our friend Michelle (pictured above with me).
Last night's show seemed to draw even more than the normal sold out numbers and the band's performance was as crisp and energetic and spot on as we've ever seen them. The cool but not too cool air made it a perfect night for the show. Chairmen is a party. It is a night of kicking back or kicking it up on the dance floor. They have a huge following though looking through the pictures I was reminded a bit of the Republican Convention...not a lot of diversity. But when it comes to Carolina Beach Music these guys trump everyone else.
