That's it baby, when you got it, flaunt it. Mel Brooks
Martin and our Boston guest came by to visit me at work Friday.
Martin has a trip to DC this week and then we are home for a while. Thank goodness. We've turned down several out of town offers with friends. I am not leaving until my June vacation. I love being here this time of year.
My heart may love it but my eyes, nose, head does not. Allergies are kicking in. I didn't want to get up this morning. I honestly think I could've laid there until 10am. They make me so sluggish.
I haven't gotten to really do much with the new camera. I have done basic shots but I have to learn the controls. No cheating with this one. I do all the set ups. I even love the sound it makes when the shutter closes. I feel like a big dog.
One of the best features was the extremely low aperture value it can reach.
I love the way Toonces looks like a little kid on an egg hunt. Or maybe the Easter bunny himself hippity hopping through the yard. After the room is built at the dock the fish food will stay down there. For now that basket is his food carrier. Hey you use what you have.
Darius was my first model.
I spent the afternoon planting bulbs and flowers I received for my birthday. Other than finding out that Facebook has Bejeweled it was a very productive day. I was so happy to have that behind me because this is an incredibly busy week. Lo and behold T man came in from work last night with my flower package from Spring Hill. Back to the dirt. I'll have to squeeze it in sometime.
