"One trouble with trouble is that is usually starts out like fun" ~ anonymous
Long story short my hair is now really really blond and Toonces likes it much better than I do. Men and liking the thoughts of a new girl in town I guess.
Saturday was yucky and rainy and T and I decided to spend our last Saturday night at home for a while just that, at home. We built a fire andwatched TV in our PJs instead of attending the auction. Heck it had been a long week.
Today I took the older kids to the movies to see Race To Witch Mountain and Caleb, Izzy and Jackson came very close to seeing their Aunt Dee throw down with some redneck lady. I haven't been that angry in a long time and I wish I had said a whole lot more to her than I did, in a classy, above it all way of course. Honestly I wish I had've gotten her up in THE RACK and slammed her to the floor.
Izzy told me she thought I should wear a hat until the dark hair grew back.
I finally saw 10,000 BC and was amazed at how well English was spoken back then.
I made photos of my little cousins at the studio. Will turning one and Autumn for Easter. I hope Sue won't mind me sharing some of my favorites and experiments with you. I don't post my work here but I do post family.
I love this shot of Autumn. With her fair complexion and bright eyes and blue dress and soft pastels...and her little painted fingernail showing. I was letting her do her own thing and this shot was when she was squatting on her knees. I can just see her personality in this one.
This one is an experiment. I painted the image except for her face, hands, feet. I wanted it to look like she is sitting in the kitchen or dining room of a beautiful old Tuscan home or something. I thought the bits of flower she'd torn off make it more authentic. I really like it and will print it for my book. I am always looking for something unique.
Autumn, like Jackson, can pull this look off well. Their coloring and bright eyes are very dramatic. Print this look on metallic paper and you've got a keeper.
So there are some of my favorites of Miss Autumn. I don't want to ruin things for "mom" who hasn't seen them yet. I am holding off on birthday boys until she sees them and says it is okay to share here.
